Flexible Solar Cells

The company PowerFilm Solar is manufacturing flexible solar cells, which can be purchased at FlexSolarCells (you will most likely find other dealers in your area). Marvelous 10000 possibilities for new Beam Bots!

I am really looking forward how much it will inspire you!

del.icio.us integration

A very basic del.icio.us integration has been done for this blog.

The newest links tagged with beam_robotics are listed on the left. By using del.icio.us and tagging your links that way you can share your beam links with all beamers.

If you don’t know del.icio.us: It is a great way to share your links, synchronize it between different computers and to access it from the web. Simply have a look yourself!

Big thanks to all contributors

In the last few months I was quite busy (as far as it was possible regarding to my main job) to ask a lot of people for allowance to cop over some of their content to the wiki.

First of ll big thanks to J Wolfgang Goerlich for encouraging me and letting me use content from his site! Namely I want to thank Simon Fraser for his contribution and support! Big thanks to Tom Elner to let me copy some of his stuff - a big addition by a big beamer! Big thanks to Vishy to use stuff from his site BEAM india.

The next steps will be to undertake everything a big content overhaul and work a bit on the structure of the website. I have also set up a flickr photo group where you can share the pictures of your bots! The next step is to integrate into this site.

I hope that the site will help you building your beam bots!
