Utilizing sensors to detect the presence and magnitude of a force, energy or condition (such as light, heat, motion, preasure, moisture, etc.) in the surrounding environment, or within the robot itself, and/or its component parts and systems.
There are many different devices that can enable a robot to detect these forces energies and conditions.
