Wilf Rigter
From BEAM Robotics Wiki
The Master BEAMer
Canadian, Wilf Rigter is Senior Technologist at Powertech, in Surrey, BC. But more importantly, he is one of (if not) the most prolific designers and interpreters of BEAM-tech on the planet. Over the years he has contributed a number of excellent articles explaining the workings of a variety of BEAM circuits, and has provided answers to untold questions and helped to solve many difficult circuit problems for BEAMers of every age and skill level.
His web page on Solarbotics.net is listed as a reference on the bottom-right corner of page #528, of the "Robot Builder's Sourcebook" By: Gordon McComb. In fact his influence in the world of [BEAM]] robotics has been so great that the anniversary of his first post to the original BEAM email list (December 7, 1998) is often marked by BEAMers with the greeting "Happy Wilf Day".
Always the true renaissance man, Wilf has also greatly contributed to fans of the old Sinclair ZX81 computer (aka Timex Synclair 1000). Even designing his own discrete logic clone of the ZX81 that he called the ZX97. A few links related to his work in this area are listed at the bottom of this page.
